Biography

Zhengyao Li graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2013 and obtained a PhD in Surgery from Peking Union Medical College in 2020. In the same year, Dr. Li joined the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Li is a member of the Precision and Digital Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, a member of the Breast Precision Reconstruction Committee, and a member of the Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine Committee of the Chinese Non-Governmental Medical Institutions Association. Dr. Li’s main research interests include clinical research related to breast plastic and aesthetic surgery and reconstruction, clinical and basic research on other plastic surgery-related diseases, medical biomaterials research, tissue engineering, and the development of novel medical devices.

1. Breast plastic and aesthetic surgery: endoscopic dual-plane breast augmentation, minimally scarred inframammary fold breast augmentation, composite breast augmentation, 3D structured mastopexy, breast reduction, signature single-incision minimally invasive excision for gynecomastia, fat grafting breast augmentation, correction of inverted nipples, nipple reduction, and removal of breast implants/materials.
